Reck Music is owned and operated by Whitney Reck, a lifelong musician with more than 25 years of musical experience. Raised in the country and shaped by a deep love of music, Whitney has dedicated her life to performing, teaching, and helping others develop their musical abilities.

Education & Training

Whitney’s strong foundation in music stems from years of study alongside distinguished mentors:

Bachelor’s Degree in Music Performance from Brigham Young University

Specialized Training at the Armed Forces School of Music for Army Bands

Mentorship under a 2026 Washington State Music Teachers Association Hall of Fame educator with over 35 years of teaching experience

Performance & Experience

Throughout her career, Whitney has performed with and participated in numerous musical organizations, including:

Army Bands

Professional bands and orchestras

School and church choirs

A touring musical group that performed in several countries throughout Asia

These experiences have given her a broad perspective on performance, collaboration, and music education.
